After weeks of work behind the scenes getting everything ready, we're pleased to announce that Hurricane Healing launches today, Wednesday the 26th of October, 2005.
To those of you visiting this website for the first time, we hope you find something hear you like enough to buy. We also hope you’ll tell your friends and family about what’s available here. Our aim is to raise as much money for as long as possible for the victims of the 2005 Hurricane Season. This Christmas will be the first that many of them spend without loved ones, without friends, family and in many cases, without a home. We have a big job ahead of us; this is just the beginning of the healing process. |

Jamie Chase joins the Hurricane Healing team as the USA PR and Communications Manager. Jamie produces and promotes documentary TV programs airing on the US Public Broadcasting System (PBS), and writes newspaper columns promoting local businesses and projects. She has also been responsible for fundraising and promotion of Tacoma, Washington-based PBS Affiliate TV station(s) and is the Director of Public Relations & Communications for the Washington Credit Union League.
