Blue Pie Productions + Perfect Pitch + MGN Productions team up to take Nigerian Music to the World. Blue Pie Productions has partnered with Nigeria's MGN Productions and alliance partner Perfect Pitch Marketing to showcase to Australia and other audiences outside Africa, what we consider to be a wonderful catalogue of exciting new Nigerian artists. Under the three-way agreement, Blue Pie will be responsible for digital distribution of MGN's catalogue via major online retailers including iTunes, MSN, eMusic, Walmart, MusicNow, MusicNet and Rhapsody. Perfect Pitch will be responsible for marketing the artists and their music including possible Australian tours in conjunction with Flying Fish Touring. The project is all about helping those affected with AIDS and the families of the affected, living with aids. The main effort is in South Africa through the 46664 foundation.
We have all united to help generate sales of this great song so that we can send cash donations to the 46664 foundation and help those that need help the most. This is our way, all the performers and the many companies that are supporting the project to help to make a difference.

We are pleased to announce that we have completed 2 outstanding remixes of Rusty Andersons great new tracks " Hurt Myself" and " Coming Down". Damien Reilly initiated the project with Crush Management and we have now been able to deliver some world class product. Dino Jag and Damien Reilly worked on "Hurt Myself" . Dino, being the guru that he is at the mixing console, has created a soon to be summer hit with the treatment on " Hurt Myself" . Dino did some additional backing vocals on this track to give it the full " DINO JAG" touch. . " Hurt Myself" was written by Rusty and features an incredible cast of artists for this remix including Rusty Anderson, Sir Paul McCartney , Dino Jag, Abe Laboriel Jr, David Kane, Probin Gregory, Brian Ray, and Paul Wickens.
Richie Robinson has laboured away to produce and outstanding version of "Coming Down" that transcends the listener to new worlds with a strong European flavour ....you feel you are in Europe. NCIAA President/CEO Kris Sweeton announced Monday April 19, 2004 that they have accepted and activated Blue Pie Productions as the next record label to join the NCIAA-TrakHeadz Distribution Program.
Blue Pie Productions will join the NCIAA-TrakHeadz Program May 10th, 2004 and start distributing their material to the NCIAA Membership worldwide! The excitement has certainly been growing within the NCIAA Membership as Djs from around the globe have been waiting for the past 54 days to start working with the new Blue Pie Production Releases. The OUTpsiDER Remix-track, " We Gotta Get out of this Place", as well as the new hot new remixes " Downtown" and the original OUTpsiDER's remix of SOUTHPAW's classic track " WINDMILL MAN " titled - " WIND UP THE MILL are going the be among the big hits within the NCIAA this month and in the next to come.

Dino has one of the most gifted voices in the country and his production skills are already receiving world wide critical acclaim. Dino has recorded & co-produced his amazing version of Play That Funky Music White Boy late year which was signed to Odessa Mama Records.

THE NCIAA Votes BLUE PIE as the Label the US DJ's most want to hear more music from - Kris Sweeton - President of the NCIAA personally calls Damien Reilly to tell us the news. Kris Sweeton, On January 1, 2004, the National Club Industry Association of America, notified more then 3200 Record Companies of their ratings from more then 43,000 Professional Club Disc Jockey's represented by the NCIAA. Blue Pie Productions, an independent label from Australia, representing such artists as Sahra, Southpaw, and OUTpsiDER, received a warm welcome from the NCIAA, who recently invited Blue Pie to join their exclusive Label Distribution Program.
From the poll, Blue Pie Productions received more then 14088 votes from Dj's sampled in the USA and Canada, who clearly stated that Blue Pie Productions was one of Australia's top Independent labels they will be looking at, more closely in 2004.

From Adelaide on the NET Sydney based Blue Pie has expanded its roster, signing up Sydney experimental pop/ sci-fi rock band The SLIMEY THINGS (who're working on an EP) and Adelaide singer songwriter Dino Jag La Vista.
Also on the roster are Sahra, Southpaw, and OUTpsiDER. The label had a bit of luck in North America. It was asked by the National Club Industry Association of America to join its Label Distribution Program. The NCIAA then did a sample poll of the 43,000 club djs it represented in the US and Canada - and over 14,000 agreed they would definitely like to hear more tracks from Blue Pie acts. |

MARCO ESU - Marco Esu , Blue Pie and Idyllium enter into an agreement to license Marco Esu's music. Marco Esu was born in Sardinia. He began to study guitar at 8 years old. Marco quickly rose to distinction at his school with numerous compositions being well received. His style is a blend of Pat Metheny crossed with Antio Carlos Jobim ... and then and blended with the style of Marco's own brand of music. In 1994 Marco won the best solo guitarist category at the " Sardinia Contest of Music" for his version of Joe Satriani's " Midnight" . Marco has played with many leading Italian artists including Slamina; Wizard and Axioma. Marco is busy preparing his new album and working on various film scores with the Blue Pie team.

SLIMEYTHINGS - Blue Pie Productions is pleased to add a new artist to our stable " The SLIMEYTHINGS" . Slimey Things are an experimental pop/ sci-fi rock band currently active within the greater Sydney area. With an energetic and fun stage show, Slimey Things have received much acclaim as one of the most unique acts in Sydney. The band has existed in various forms for over 5 years, performing extensively around Sydney and the greater Sydney area. Over this time their sound has developed and evolved into an energetic blend of many styles: catchy pop, retro-futuristic rock, Zappa-esque metal ... & other zany stuff. Recently JJJ radio host and Sydney underground legend Jay Katz, gave their song "Help! I'm in the 80s" airplay. Their music is also receiving radio play on Sydney's FBI radio. Tune to 94.5 FBI Radio.
